There will be plenty of tough situations in a tournament like World Cup. In nervous moments he will crack very easily. A no no for the world cup.

You simply do not understand cricket. That is an ignorant comment. Vijay can handle and bat well on Australian pitches, thats the reason for his selection not because of his batting in Test match cricket. Vijay batted well in India in tests but no one said he should be in the ODI team, but because India struggle to bat in Australia and he did well he MUST be selected.
