Umesh Yadav..Our Future!!

I understand that things are not going well for Umesh Yadav in last two tests but it happens to best of the bowlers....I think it is best to come out and show your support for this genuine pace bowler.....Not like other bandwagoners who only support him when things are good.. I have no doubts that this guy will be the best Indian bowler... He has shown tremendous talent and results in various ODIs and Tests...and the best thing about him is he is built as an ox and can bowl high 140s and low 150s without breaking a sweat though out day.. be it 10th over of an ODI or 4th day and post tea session.. Pace bowlers like him are hard to find ....He was unplayable against SL and WI in our recent series.. He played a big role in KKR winning the title., India winning the champions trophy... I am sure if BCCI and fairweather fans give half the support what ISharma and VPrasad recieved to U.Yadav, UYadav will prove everyone to the world.. Yadav and Bhuvi are our future!! Just look at some of his spells. PGOsQ3mvXxU nB-lHCOZmko nxehIWtDqoY r8_4C3MK9oI HnJnnqND9Yc&feature=youtu.be

He will have to go back to SC pitches now for next 2 years' tests. Tough to turn this phase around on those tracks but lets hope he comes back strong.

He is already 27. How much more time he needs to improve! It is just frustrating to see him not learning anything. Hope, at least, Aaron gets better quickly in a year or so. Dont want both of our quickest pacers fade away. Becoming pessimistic now.

i think we need to start fresh with our pace bowlers in the next test series. pick the bowlers who have performed well in 2014/15 ranji trophy, doesnt matter if its vinay or aravind and instruct the current lot to toil in next ranji season

Good to see some fans still believe in this guy. If guidance is the issue then I dont see that change in the near future. But still this guy picks wickets I would prefer him over the guys who needs to bowl two or more spells to pick one wicket. Yes he is expensive but a wicket taker. When we finally get quicks who are both miser and striker than we can drop him its not a good idea to drop him now.

Its not what believe and follow, is this guy so ****ing brain dead not to realize his mistakes? I mean certain spells are so damn amateur! So want him to do well, but the guy is a certified idiot they way he's been bowling. Its about consistency. 4-5 good deliveries that beat your bat doesn't win you Test matches. But again, we stuck with the likes of Vinay FFS

He just sucks in Sydney!! If we remove both the Sydney tests he has played, his avg will come down significantly to 31 and strike rate is just exceptional. One thing for sure is that when things aren't going his way and the opposition are hitting him ,his bowling gets worse, loses his control!! It is a mental problem that he himself needs to correct , nobody can help him on that. He can't be discarded, should be given a chance for home test matches

True. Bowlers development is largely upto themselves. At this level nobody can spoonfeed you about how to react when you get hit around. Kapil Dev had no role model to look upto. http://www.pitchvision.com/the-mcgrath-within-how-to-bowl-with-metronomic-accuracy Practice makes one perfect.
