Kiya vote? I'm disappointed with the fielding restrictions in the final overs. I want batsmen to be skillful to score high without fielding restrictions. Also, the two new balls. I want reverse swing.

I quite like the WC format - 5 league games + 3 knockouts. But I totally abhor the scheduling. This tournament should be over in 4 weeks, not drag out for 6-7 weeks.

run inflation is not good... the champions trophy in england was perfect in this regard. I think barring the India v SA game every game india played there was balance between bat and ball.

Flat dead batting pitches. It has become rare to see even little bit of assistance for the bowlers. No longer an even contest between batters and bowlers. Very little swing . No pace OFF the pitch.Thick fat bats and Silly field placement rules to assist the most mediocre batsmen. Incessant Advertising . Cacophonous commentators.

I voted demise of Pakistan. On a serious note, for me it's the 2 new white balls which kill reverse swing and spinners bowling with old ball. Also one less fielder outside the ring annoys me. Kills the days of the part timer.

Add one-sided affairs.. Barring Aus - NZ.. there were no high profile thrillers.. There were some with associate teams but not much. Eng - Lanka was an ok game.. but it turned out very boring.

- boundaries have become meaningless - wickets are almost bad as it lets the likes of AB come in and destroy teams - ignorance towards Associate cricket - selfishness of a 10 team WC - crap eligibility laws

those two things are probably tied together. Pakistani pacers did rely a lot on reverse. The spinners are also less potent than they would have been. Pakistan traditionally and not known for the hit the deck sort of bowlers. Will be interesting to see the stats of pak pacers in the final 15 before and after this two new ball rule.

That's true. But only really Wahab reverses it and maybe Junaid if he was here. Irfan doesn't or Sohail Khan. I think with Pakistan their batting is a flop, fielding is comedy and bowling is mix of rubbish, inexperience,inconsistency, people who spray the ball. 2 new balls also means more conventional swing. I do think India have suffered a bit here as although Shami is picking up wickets he does get reverse. Yadav maybe too but he is not a consistent bowler. Our spinners have bowled well with newer ball.

Voted for inflation in team scores.too many pattas nowadays,even good bowlers have e/r more than 5,avgs for batsmen are way too high nowadays. We need more sporting pitches with grass,bounce,turn depending on where it is being played,two white ball aint a bad idea if conditions and the pitches are suitably made

I still can't forget the excitement and feeling the chills when Tendu was nearing 200. It seemed like an impossible feat. The new fielding rules and 2 new balls have just made a mockery of it. 160 in 66 balls. That is EA Cricket stuff..

Free hits,. Why penalize the bowler twice when he is already penalized as you are giving 1 run already to the other team after the bowler has bowled a no ball. UDRS. Everyone should use it in every series. If it's pefect or not, I don't care. No team should have exception of not using it. Team should follow same rules as others are following. Powerplay is shyt - I love the 15 over mandatory fielding restrictions earlier. It defined 50 over format. It was great fun. This rule is shyt.

I'm fine with the PPs. The floating PP is actually a good idea, as it can shift the momentum of the match. But the fielding restrictions in the last 10 overs is :wall:

Change 4 fielder rule. The most vile of all rules. 2 new balls makes the ball remain hard and fresh for the slog overs. Imagine Ganguly with a big bat and these rules. Do any one of you guys think Dhawan would beat Ganguly if he were playing in this era?
