By sheer intensity of his performances in World Cups, Mahendra Singh Dhoni probably has a greater impact on Team India than the legendary Sachin Tendulkar had. Considering the limited scope he build an innings and the pressure situations he faces as a finisher and of course as a captain, Dhoni is simply unbeatable. He remains calm and there is a lot of communication in the middle. He wants you to focus on the next ball and advises on your role. Truly amazing," Styris said on STAR Sports after Saturday's match. That was what Tendulkar had to work with for the first 10 years of this career and he still won games. Dhoni deserves high praise for his man management and being the best at the particular role he plays but to say he has a greater aura is just diarrhoea.

Its stupid to put down one to bring the other up. In fact they both have high admiration for each other, its only fans that indulge in these stupid comparisons to satisfy their insecurity.

MS Dhoni has been the most successful Indian captain. But u cant compare him with Sachin.... Although he is a finisher... But to finish the game u need some one to start / place the game..and that was Sachin.... To face those super fast swinging deliveries.... U need a magician to play.. to play in tests at 4/5 down who can make a test game for India...u need a star to play.
