RedFever Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I'm stumped who to support in tomorrow's game. Aus are obvious favorites and most likely to win. Ind would rather face Pak than Aus in the semis. But if after supporting Pak against Aus, if they go on beat Ind in the semis, there will be a lot of butt hurt. I'd rather Ind lose to Aus than Pak. Who are you guys backing in tomorrow's game? This is exactly what I am feeling. 90% probability we will win against PAK in the semis, but there is always a chance of losing and that loss will hurt more than losing against Australia.

The way, Federer wants somebody to take Nadal out of tournament so that he can have real chance of winning the tournament, I would like Pak to take Aus out of WC. We can then take care of Pak easily.

gakgupta Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I have lived in US for long enough to understand that whites usually look down upon sub-continent people (May it be Srilanka, India, Pak or Bangladesh)....I heard that this is even more in Ozzie.....Thinking in this aspect, I would not supported Ozzie.... After moving to india, I understood, how much it means for an indian to win against Pak and how much it would hurt to loose to them.... Most of my friends, doesn't care if we don't get the world cup but it's extremely important not to loose against Pak.... From indian perspective, it would be good if Pak wins tomorrow's match, as they are easier opposition to us in semis.... but what if...india looses against Pak in Semis??

If we have to hope, let's just hope that we win the WC irrespective of who we play :nice: Based on the current form and conditions, Aus playing Pak is similar to Ind playing BD. Something strange has to happen for Pak to go through ....

Even this would be reluctant. I will not support them to beat Aus because Pakistan does not deserve to be in the semis and I want our rivals out asap. Shocking how some people want them through, they are rubbish I know but there is still a SMALL CHANCE they could knock us out like any other team in the semis. I would rather go out to Aus or anyone for that matter NOT Pak.
