Playing the victim card wont help you. Even today we had two bad decisions, one in our favour and the other in yours. It happens, umpires are no immortal.

Dar on instinct raised his arm even b4 knowing Rohit had holed out. Call came after Rohit had hit it..so he wouldn't have heard it..It would be called out most of the other times. should have checked upstairs (A) The no ball call was made Ie did it affect Rohits thought process (B) If it was a no ball. Umpires IMO did not cover themselves in glory with that. They are lucky that this call did not affect the final outcome due to the margin of victory. But if it would have been tight say 50 runs or less than IMO it was certainly a talking point.

Pak fans never blamed poor decision of akmal as a reason for lose to India. I didnt see poor zim complain about calls made during ireland and pak game. BD fans are sore losers. these guys lost by 109 runs, rohit iffy decision was made when india were close to 200; these buggers were all out for 193 how the heck did that decision impact the outcome of the game ?

Lot of teams win even with poor decisions. But you lose almost all matches against all top teams consistently. So even very very run of the mill mistake by umpire looks huge for you. Waist height noball has been wrongly given or not given atleast gazillion times in history. When you compared to that your opener literally hit the ball.. two slips are appealing loudly umpire did not give. Which one is howler? A marginal noball call or someone hit the ball and not given out?
MCcricket Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Such bullshit as there is nothing at all to doubt the dismissal by Dhawan n LBW as they were not out per cricket laws as to no ball 9 times of ten anywhere close to waist high is no ball especially the ball coming at pace and these poor whiners lost by 100 plus runs and r behaving like sore losers. What about decisions which went against India n England lol shows their maturity n intelligence, the only way they could win was if India played very very poorly n they played out of their skins as there is a huge gap between skills n talent of the two teams although they did do well to somehow reach the Q/F.
addicted4444 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I think Ball rapidly dipped.. That is why Rohit was in slighly crouched stance when he met the ball. It started definitely above waist. Probably a slower full toss? Not sure.. It was not a howler by any means. lot of noballs were not given as well.. Few went over the head. There was 1 wrong call (probably a significant one) with the no ball called on the Sharma dismissal. However, it was by no means a howler, in that it was close to the waist, and had started off chest level, but dipped rapidly. Problem was Aleem Dar called it too quick (which basically makes the kaanspiracy theories even more ridicukous, because he called it as soon as Sharma hit it, so it was impossible to know he would get out on that ball). Other than that all the calls BangBros are complaining about were legit. They are only showing their lack of knowledge in most cases. If anything, India bore the brunt of a lot of bad calls (although none as significant as the 1 mistake). The Kayes dismissal, a wide that went for 4 which Dar ridiculously called as byes, lots of over the head deliveries by the Bang bowlers which should have been called wides and weren't (Indian bowlers have been very impressive with their control over the bounce, btw). There were many mistakes. The only 1 that went against Bang unfortunately for them happened to be significant. However, in terms of sheer number of mistakes, more were against India, so if there was any bias (which there wasn't) it was against India.

And wrong decisions are anyway a part of the game, so fans need to move on. And yeah, a wrong decision hurts a weaker team more because they cannot create enough opportunities. Hence the irrational outcry. Though, trolling is often confused with 'opinion' on the net, and therefore I don't agree that all Bangla fans are crying about it.

He could have just let him go, but they wanted to make sure that the catch was taken cleanly. Is this bias? Umpires clearly weren't just working for one team. They wanted to make sure the whole game was clean. One bad umpire judgement, and people are saying INdia cheated and bought umpires etc and shyt. Goes on to show the attitude and ethical attitude they have in life, that they blame little errors by calling someone else cheat.

But MS Tony did nothing. Whatever reason umpire didn't give that out Those are the only 2.. Everything else is nonesense. Great point. I watched the match live and that is exactly what he did. He didn't have the benefit of hindsight gained by watching it all again in slow motion so his decision is alright I think. Even with Rohit gone, who's to say India wouldn't have scored another 70-80 runs? Jaddu played a blinder - maybe he would have made a rapid 50 if he got more time to bat. Maybe Ashwin or even Shami could have scored a few quick runs. At best, that Rohit decision cost bangbros 20-30 runs. They lost by a 100 runs, not 10.

Actually, I saw one video clip, Tamim seemed to ask Dhoni if he took cleanly and Dhoni pointed to umpire to ask him to verify upstairs or something like that.

This is for those who felt that umpires weren't in their favor.
