Bumper Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I won't say the world cup was boring, but it wasn't the most exciting. It was good while it lasted. But given how crucial toss was, most games were not fair contests. Too many one sided games (including the WC finals)

For me atleast, the first round of this worldcup was just to see who among the G9 would go an play the QF. Unfortunetly england had to be the one getting the boot. We all had a feeling that SA/AUS/NZ would make it to Semi so QF decided who that 4th spot would be and it ended up being US. Most of us even predicted it would be AUS/NZ/SA in the finals and thus the Semifinal decided that aswell. How predictable was this worldcup?
helperononline Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 44 days long! 2011 was a marathon, can't believe ICC stuck with the duration again. then looking at wiki, 2019 World Cup has the following dates 30 May to 15 July :omg: I think this format is ideal, but the duration the World Cup is pathetic, teams having to wait for more than 7 days for their next game in group stage was ridiculous The knockouts took 12 days, which could have been done in 7-8 days. Should have been done and dusted inside 4 weeks, might have given us more exciting games too its is good for us our player complain of fatigue if they play back to back matches
