It's difficult to know how he would have done if he had a better bowling attack because from what I remember he was often re-active with the attack he did have. Akram was awful and a match fixer so deserves no credit at all. Cronje was a match fixer so same for him. Taylor again had a good Aussie side but didn't do enough. It was only when Waugh took over that Aus started to become a real force. For the limited resources he had, Fleming might just pip this.
