Invasion 550 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 A day full of great moments. The security was top notch. It felt like you are in some hollywood movie. With helicopters flying in the air. And commandos running around. And with all those Hi-tech vehicles. Top notch stuff. Made us all feel really secure. Then entering the stadium after six years. What feeling. God. I cant even explain it in words and people starting to cheer even before the start of the match. Brilliant stuff. :cantstop: Then some people running with flags around their neck. A whole group of 30 people actually. Some funny tidbits: No one gave a **** about umar akmal. :haha: Lala is still the most popular guy. When shezzy was passing everyone started chanting selfi selfi. HAHAHA. Crowd chanting "Zimbabwe" during the national anthems and during every shot they hit. Brilliant support. Some section of the crowd was even wearing Zimbabwe read and waved their flags as a sign of gratitude. Chants of Pakistan Zindabad and the crowd roaring on every ball and the build up to wahab's over. Beautiful stuff. Crowd chanting "selfie selfie" during shehzad's innings and Shehzad pretending to take a selfie. Amazing. Hahaha. Top lad. Boom boom hitting the last four - perfect end to a perfect day. So happy. So so happy.
HippoSucks Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Was there any guy with his body painted in green with your flag painted on top? Anyway glad to see international cricket returning to Pakistan. With a population so crazy about the sport, it is unimaginable that no international cricket was played there for 6 years. Hope the situation of terrorism improves so such high security isn't required and more teams can tour the country safely.

Yeah man, all that time i kept thinking what if this was an India v Pak match. Imagine the crowd. Exactly. We hope the same.
