Based on a leading Bengali daily report.The same one wjich leaked the Chappel drama details. Ganguly keen on being coach and a long term contract till 2019 but it seems he will be made Director.

Of the Indian cricketers, the recently retired cricketers certain seem better suited for such roles. No point turning back to the Kapils Devs and Madan Lals for these positions. As someone else posted recently, those guys probably don't know how to log in to a laptop

When Duncan was being paid for coaching the team, anyone else would also be paid irrespective of their own performance... The objective of the High performance manager is to win majority of home tours (which already happens by default) and then defend the team's spanking outside subcontinent saying the team will need time to turn things around overseas, things don't happen overnight blah blah blah ...
