SELVAM Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Because they r lap child of America, so they getting high cost military toys from America freely. Unfortunately it's all used against their own people
sensible-indian Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 We're actually ranked behind Pakistan according to 2014 figures lol. Dunno if that takes population into account, dont think so Which list? I have seen couple of other countries unable to sustain it. If we continue at the same rate we are doomed.
sensible-indian Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Interesting link. India is what china was in 2005. We are lagging like a decade. Their growth rate has sustained quite well over this decade. I have seen couple of other countries unable to sustain it. If we continue at the same rate we are doomed. We have issues now but we will get back on track. From a long term point of view. We have a growing middle class population with increasing purchasing power. Heavy emphasis on education. Secular and stable country. In the next 30-40 years, the 3 main powers in the world would be China, USA and India. We will be crap per capita wise even then (but it would have improved much better then) but in absolute numbers we would be very very good. This isn't a jingoistic statement but that's how the world is going to change. http://www.businessinsider.com/these-economies-will-dominate-the-world-in-2050-2012-1?IR=T#1-china-50 http://www.therichest.com/rich-list/world/these-will-be-the-top-15-richest-countries-in-2050/13/ http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2012/02/the-world-in-2050-when-the-5-largest-economies-are-the-brics-and-us/253160/ http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2012/02/the-world-in-2050-when-the-5-largest-economies-are-the-brics-and-us/253160/ Plus many other links on Google Page 1 https://www.google.co.in/search?sourceid=chrome-psyapi2&rlz=1C1GTPM_enIN560IN560&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8&q=best%20countries%20in%202050&oq=best%20countries%20in%202050&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l2.9818j0j7 Unless something drastically catastrophic happens, this is how its going to turn out. Our middle class population's positive effects are going to kick in. The most important thing we need to do NOW is create a positive environment for businesses to grow (while keeping crony capitalism at bay) which will give a massive boost to our economy. We are still rubbish in this aspect.
Pravda Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 A funny comparison to start with, North Korea is competing, with South Korea though they say so to the world Is it worth spending time, to think of economy between North and South .... Put their countries first name is reverse order that would be the difference forever
Khalpat Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Pakistan has to convince their citizens that the decision they took 67 years back of partitioning was correct. For proving their point they have to show India in bad light either through showing poverty or corruption or riots. This gives them the moral booster of patriotism that no problem we are in a mess the neighbours are also not doing too good. This is just a feel good psychology. India also does the same, lets be frank we also show the bad news related to Pakistan this convince us that the decision they took 67 years back was not good. The easier part for us is that we need not do too much of effort.
mishra Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 OP Bong is talking about GDP, Economy, growth blah blah blah. Dont you know Pakistan is only nuclear Islamic state in whole world. :yoyo:
randomGuy Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Pak has 41.5 million undernourished people in 2015. Its 22.x % of their population. India's undernourished %age is 15.x % . When it comes to improvement in nutrition, Bangladesh and Nepal have done better than India.
Kalia_Test Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 We have enriched Uranium but they have Saudi Arabium :nervous:

gattaca Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 So now they cant even compete with bangladesh ? good that india created bangladesh
Clarke Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Pak did have a better economy for the most part because of our crazy lefties who couldn't smell the coffee until the USSR broke up and even after that they waited until we went bankrupt.
randomGuy Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 2. Brain power - It can't be measured but in general Pakistanis and to some extent north Indians are more physical people and kinda aggressive and warlike. On other other hand, Bengalis, south Indians, western Indians (Gujratis, etc) are more calmer and use little more intellect. To back it up, just have a look at the number of Grand Masters in chess. i. India - 38 (1 per 33 million people) (but mostly from south and east) ii. Pakistan - 0 iii. Bangladesh - 5 (1 per 32 million) Was going through the thread one more time and this sounds retarded. 1 per 32/33 million people is such a small number that it is useless to draw anything from this. For ex. compare this to Armenia, a country which produces highest per capita chess GMs - 23 GMs with population of 3 million. Probably if chess becomes popular in Pak, it will produce many more GMs than us. Pak has a noble laureate physicist - Abdus Salam. BD has zero. It will be equally retarded to say Pak has more 'Brain power' because to this. Delhi, Kota produce most IITians along with Hyderabad/Andhra. Again, a coincidence due to the opportunities that kids get. Google Parimarjan Negi(2nd youngest ever GM). The south (NOT west or east, including BD) does have higher no. of scientists, mathematicians etc...Aryabhat, Ramanujan, even Shakuntala Devi if she can be considered. No other region can claim more 'Brain power' including BD.
Clarke Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 lmao, zero grandmasters! For all the phaassst boilers it produces, desi red meat does seem to feck up the brain.
randomGuy Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 lmao' date=' zero grandmasters! For all the phaassst boilers it produces, desi red meat does seem to feck up the brain.[/quote'] Japan has zero GM too:giggle: India has more than China (but gets beaten by a few smaller countries too). Countrywise no. of GMs - http://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml

Armenia logic, yes their population is small, but do take your consideration of the environment their next gen kids grow up, its clean (No Hard Talks)
Detonator Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 zero fecks given for Pakistan economy. Let us focus on our own problems and let them focus on theirs.
