Entertaining- Gilchrist > Hayden > Jaisurya > Klusener > Trescothick > Yuvaraj > Nick Knight.

 

PS only players post 1990 included. Can't comment on pre 90s batsmen.

Yuvraj shouldn't really be in the top lefty batsmen class - he failed to really get going in test cricket.  But there's something undeniably regal about his cover drive when he's in flow.   Gower makes me think of VVS, dazzlingly good to watch when in flow.  Capable of some magical shot-making.  

 

Hayden doesn't belong in any discussion on elegance either, he was more a bludgeon or sledge-hammer.   Lara probably is the pick.   I have a mental block on Sanga due to his annoying nature, but so won't comment on that.

Most entertaining -gilly,trescothik,jayasurya,gayle and laraMost attractive- anwar,gower,langer and special mention of chanderpaul

Chanderpaul was entertaining for his weird style but his test innings were boring as hell to watch even though at one point he had one of the fastest test centuries I beleive.Langer really? He was more work man like.Infact one underrated elegant leftie has to be Stephen fleming

 

In his first part of his career , Chanderpaul can be brutal when he wanted .

 

That fastest hundred was a treat to watch.He came in to face hatrick ball at 40 odd for 4 and lost Lara soon after too.Then got hit by a brutal Lee bouncer and that's it, just went insane .

 

Also remember one ODI against SA in SA where he opened the batting and absolutely annihilated their attack.

 

Great underrepresented cricketer in so many aspects.
