Agreed. He just doesn't seem to hurt enough after overseas test losses. Reminds me of his comment after the 0-8 saga of 2011 - "It's bad but not even close to how bad it was after the 2007 World Cup" - after a tournament where the only major upset was a loss to Bangladesh. He doesn't seem to care about test match losses as much as ODIs or, even worse, IPL!

Not Funny....Anyways why blame him...Lot of other issus to worry about....Got a wicket and scored a crucial quarter century in the 1st innings(:vroam:) He is the least of our problems......He needs to be given a consistent run not chopped and changed.....Give him the next 15 games and if he doesn't do well dump him. Even in ODI's he was never given a consistent run but once he was like in recent times the result is World record,A Cycle AGarbatthi award,Some matchwinning knocks in Champions trophy. In T20 obviously he is in the starting line up and the result-He is our best player in the format from a consistency standpoint

In T20s - agreed, he is capable of some big hitting when T20 part-time mercenaries are bowling. In ODIs, the jury is still out on whether he has the skill to get runs outside the sub-continent. In tests outside the SC, he is an embarrassment to say the least.

I don't get why he should be dropped after playing just one game ie his first test in England. How can you expect someone to start performing from 1st test itself when the player was not even sure he would play a match in the series.
