I think he deserves a special thread. Congradulations on your first series win as captain. Even in Australia he went after win in the first Test. But for horrible decision by umpire we might have won. Good intensity shown by him. It is good to have someone taking overseas test results seriously.

Was good tactically I think. Utilized his bowlers well. Yadav and Binny were underwhelming, but were rotated wisely so that the other bowlers were fresh and their intensity did not diminish. Welcome break from how Dhoni used to operate. Was a little disappointing with his selections though. No matter how talented he thinks Rohit is, he needs to understand that we have the core 5 batsmen and their positions identified. No point meddling with that to accommodate Rohit. Rohit comes in when we play six batsmen. Simple as that. Also needed to have a little more belief in Bhuvi, who would have been a better replacement for Binny if we were to play five bowlers. I am getting mixed signals on the effect of captaincy on his batting. He's either blowing hot or cold.

Playing Bhajji is something that should never ever be thought about again. If IPL performances are critical than Ranji, that sets a bad example. BK should have played as well in place of Binny.

The best part of his captaincy I felt was his rotation of fast bowlers and keeping them fresh, rather than going with hot hand and running him to death. Bhuvi has not been the same since second test in England.As a captain your job is make sure these guy are fresh and have energy to run in at any point of time.

Yep congrats on a great win Thought we won't recover after the first test collapse .Must have taken great belief and resolve to pull through and go attacking in the second test .:hatsoff: for that conviction But Still don't agree with his biased test selections .If we had selected the correct teams would have wiped Lanka 3-0 without any fuss Hopefully we will get it right against SA .Iam sure they will expose far more if we don't play our best team . All said and done great positive start to a new era in test cricket

Apart from the selections he has done everything right. Tactics. Management. Field positions. Everything right. Only if he can get over this weird Rohit fetish, I think we're looking forward to some great results in future!

Next step after this great milestone is identifying the players n building India's bowling attack n bench as selectors will not do that , idiots. We also need separate teams across formats, Dhoni would have lost or drawn the series like he has done n would have talked disparagingly about his bowlers, Kohli showed how it is done

If we are talking about winning sessions we won more sessions even in the first Test. It was that crazy collapse that tilted the balance.
