the likes of Johan Botha etc have been called as well....

Watch the slow mo from 3:32 bro (from the video in my post).

Heavy usage of wrists and not elbows.

You are assuming that the umpires found his action suspicious just based on his wicket taking deliveries.

Change the speed setting to 0.5 and see from 1:19.

Exaggerated wrist movement.

For an off spinner, it's impossible to use a lot of wrist without bending elbow. Try that yourself.

Yes but chuckers don't chuck like 1 delivery out of 60 and get screwed for that.

They usually leave a trail and get caught when they overdo it. This guy (from watching in slow mos) doesn't leave a trail. I know he has been reported for 8 deliveries (and maybe he did it there - dunno) but generally chuckers give away a strong impression of chucking in general and when getting wickets.

Yes but the elbow doesn't seem to bend much for him.

It's not about how much you bend your elbow but how far do you straighten from the bent elbow... if it's over 15 degrees its a chuck. Everyone has to bend the elbow to a certain extent that can't be noticed but they are mostly under 10 degrees. I'd say ban straight away like they are doing. It's unfair for those that play in the right spirits.

Saw the video. Don't see anything wrong with his action to be fair.

WTF that isn't chucking !!! I can't believe he was called for that. If that is chucking all off spinners in the world will very soon be called for chucking. How did Chuckbhajan escape scrutiny? beats me .

I know the rules bro. Haha.

Was talking about extension only. Rkt talked about bend cos that's the colloqially way to describe extension.

And sorry, you can't ban anyone right away and I will tell you why.

Al Amin was declared clean on ALL DELIVERIES using the new protocol upon testing.

Kaushal was reported for both normal and doosra and ALL his normal deliveries were clean (only doosra was banned).

So auto banning would be horrible and lead to a mess.

Crazy naa?

It baffles me that Bhajji isn't even called for testing (when guys like Kaushal are getting called - rightfully so - we needed to find out where he stands once and for all).

Can we let tests decide if it's chucking or not ? I would have thought people learned their lessons with Ajmal and why we should not trust our eyes in such cases and I hoped we won't make same mistake again ..

Bilal Asif was reported for 6 or 8 balls in his spell. They may not be the ones in video. Even a blatant chucker does not chuck every ball.

If umpires are suspicious - they should call and they did. If the tests come fine - no issues.

Bhajji needs to be tested proactively but looks like umpires are happy with his action after he was called earlier. He stopped his doosra too.

This is quite possible. His wicket taking deliveries were legit. as far as I could tell but maybe he does chuck the odd one .

These english umpires always scared for spin talent in Asia. Thats y they report. Ex-Ajmal, Harbhajan, Senanayake, Kaushal, etc.  After these bowlers got through from those tests they were unable to back in to the team. Because after that these bowlers mentally depressed. They cant perform like earlier. See wht happen to Ajmal & senanayake. They were top of the T20 ranking & still they are not in the team now

Not surprised, Pakistan Cricket these days is all about cheaters and fixers. To make it worse, these players are not even educated enough to realize that their Mohalla tactics will not work in international arena.
