Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Bhajji to shaadi waale mood mein hai aajkal.Haan Barbaadi(jitni bachi hai)wo 29th October ko hai.
sensible-indian Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) If he is ruled out of the test series for recovery...that would be a devastating blow. Edited October 11, 2015 by sensible-indian
Gollum Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Looks like a pretty serious injury. Ruled out of the ODI series now and doubtful whether he will play the 1st test. Vijay too is unfit. Very scared now about our test prospects.
diga Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 with split capataincy, both would want the best players for their teams.. hopefully it will not result in bad blood & inuries
Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 He isnt ruled out of the ODI series. The Test series starts on 5th of Nov.So almost 4 weeks to go.I doubt its a very serious strain though at max a grade 1 strain.
beetle Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Did any one else see him come out and roll him arm once and then walk away? Afridi90 1
sandeep Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Let him rest for a relatively less important bi-lateral ODI series even if he is borderline fit. Maybe come back for the last ODI, if at all. Good for the other spinners to get an opportunity, and the team to find wins without its #1 bowler.
fineleg Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Get him fit for the Tests, else its a goner Test series. Why Bhajji as replacement? Cant they name other replacements? If Dartbhajan is not gonna play next ODI worldcup anyway, we should be looking at others. Edited October 11, 2015 by fineleg

If Dartbhajan is not gonna play next ODI worldcup anyway, we should be looking at others.Who are the younger offies doing well at the domestic level? I liked what I saw of Chahal, but he's a leggie. Mishraji is doing well at the moment, let him be.
Iconoclast Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Bhajji, Binny, Kumar .. Saffie batsmen must be licking their lips. The result of the ODI series is a forgone conclusion ... Ashwin should target the test series for a return.

Ashwin should target the test series for a return. In a way, I am happy... A 0-5 loss here, and Dhoni would be sent packing...Really don't know why he is carrying on here... He should have gracefully retired after WC. He is not playing 2019, so pass the baton and move on..
FischerTal Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) its a blessing in disguise. the odis are a gone case. at least he'll be ready for test series and the south africans still have no clue about how to deal with him. heck abdv struggles against him. just serve some spitting cobras for the test matches and let ashwin da weave his magic. Gollum Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 May(should) be called for chucking. Will do Indian cricket a lot of good if that happens.
