For the first time in last 15 years, Indian bowling looks better than Indian batting

I have been following Indian cricket seriously from last 15 years....I have never seen Indian bowling better than Indian batting. There were patches esp during Zaheer Khan era where Indian bowling looked potent. But Indian batting was better than that at that point of time.

But now, for the first time, there is a clear indication that Indian bowling is miles ahead of indian batting. I have never seen all the four bowlers bowling so beautifully. 

Don't know if this is because of a captain who is backing his bowling unit or it's just that all of them have matured at same time......

Now, we have a bowling unit who together can take 20 wickets.....

Kohli should continue with 5 bowler theory..............in this process we might loose some matches but we will win some matches as well................no more boring 5 day test matches which will end in a lame draw

The secret to winning test matches consistently, and having a test team that others respect and fear, is having a great bowling lineup . We are on the right track at last.

I too have never seen 4 Indian bowlers ...two fast bowlers and two spinners... looking dangerous at the same time and looking like they can pick wickets every over. 

It has happened at last and that too on a pitch where the Indian batsmen have scored 330 + and are 190 for 4.

I feel a bit sad that we have a sic month break from tests when the momentum is with us and the bowlers are fired up. Nevertheless, Kohli and the team management should keep on doing what they doing now...it is working wonders. I believe motivation, guidance and backing provided to the bowlers have played a big part.

Both our fast bowlers bowled very well too and the Delhi pitch is not a typical seamer friendly pitch. Even the spinners are getting less help here.

That same Aussie team would most probably lose 0-4 if they play against this team in India. No need to point the finger at India's home advantage every time India wins. It's not as if all other teams are winning consistently away from their home turf.

It's good that at least they're able to take advantage of the home conditions. We've seen otherwise too many times lately. I still remember one Test series against England where we won the first game. England got Panesar into the squad for the remaining tests and won the series 2-1.

I agree with all of you guys. This is a showcase of wonderful bowling.

All I'm saying is that it's too early to jump the gun. Let them do it more consistently around the world. Dominating in home conditions is one thing and adapting to away conditions and still dominating is another.

Who says these bowlers are great ? They were mostly disappointing so far.

BUT for the first time we are seeing them bowling with motivation and discipline as a bowling unit. The pacers are combining accuracy and pace. 

That is what is exciting. The improvement we are seeing in the last two test series.

The series is more or less over, and SA wants to go home.

But I don't want to pretend that a guy like Ravendra Jadeja is some world class bowler because of whom for the first time in 15 years, Indian bowling is now amazing. 

India should absolutely prepare pitches that give us the best chance to win. But just because we're winning on those pitches, doesn't mean we have good bowlers.  If we had good players, we wouldn't have to prepare such pitches.

This team is not definetly world class but have potential to take 20 wickets unlike before where team used to be completely dependant on one bowler

We have a good spin bowling attack. Our pacers are decent but it will take time to see if they can go to the next level. As far as the batting is concerned, the problem is there is no 50+ average batsman. Only Rahane is capable of this but he bats down the order, so it's unlikely.

Warne was also missing. My point is there is only 1 quality bowler in this team. On the other hand we have 3-4 world class batsmen. So, still a long way before bowling overtakes our batting.
