sandeep Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Exhibit A: Paki frustration over millions of $$ lost due to India not granting them 'home' tour. Years of isolation with no cricket burning them up, and wanting to inflict similar pain on hated rivals India.Exhibit B: Make a big show of 'co-operation' by informing Indian govt that some jihadis have crossed into India - This gives them a bit of "Cover Your A$$", that hey we we co-operating against terror already.Exhibit C: Start making completely baseless drama regarding security for their loser team. Now all they have to do is wait for their unleashed loonies with a few guns and bombs to attack a stadium like in Paris - and presto, mission accomplished. Indian security better have their act together - you can almost expect something big to happen in the next couple of weeks. vijay50 and Iconoclast 1 1
chewy Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Unlikely, Pakistan already on a fine line, and if terrorists attack World T20, not just India but whole world will point fingers at Pakistan without blinking (even if the terrorists are not backed by Pakistan gov & army).Infact, it will be Pakistan's prerogative to ensure this World T20 takes place peacefully, ensure no militants get through border and cause trouble. In other words bad PR for Pakistan if terror attacks take place in India targeting the World T20.
zen Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Pak is not necessarily rational. If it happens, Ind should take it as an act of war
sandeep Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 Pak is not necessarily rational.this. Their entire Kashmir strategy is based on terorrist blackmail - if you dont give us what we want, we will not let you prosper and murder innocents.
Forever Indian Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Guys pls dont mix terrorism with cricket. That's the last accusation the game wants. Be a bit rational and discuss about the game rather than conspiracy theories...
Adi_91 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Tbh, if something happens during the World T20, then it will be a big setback to our global perception. Wish it never happens ever.
Sean Bradley Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 It would be stupid of Pakistan to pull out of World T20 and plan a Jihadi attack. But having said that, you don't think of Jihadis as wise men. I hope and pray for world peace.
Iconoclast Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Pak artist events in India have been repeatedly targeted by Hindu extremists ... you would expect the Pak cricket team to face the same threat.PCB are 100% right in taking a sensibly cautious approach.

This is just one example, there are many I can give when it comes to Indians helping the foreigners and ensuring their security
zen Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Pak artist events in India have been repeatedly targeted by Hindu extremists ... you would expect the Pak cricket team to face the same threat.PCB are 100% right in taking a sensibly cautious approach.Could be. But being targeted (may be through demonstrations) and being secure are two different things .... For e.g. US is targeted by Islamic terrorists, but it is secureIf PCB or whoever wants to be cautious, it is ok. But why not just skip the event if the concern is genuine? What is the compulsion to play in Ind? .... Skipping sporting events is not new, for e.g. during cold war, NATO countries skipped 1980 Olympics in Moscow. The Eastern Bloc reciprocated by skipping the 1984 Olympics in LAI hope PCB and govt of Pak take the right decision to not tour a minefield like Ind Edited March 10, 2016 by rett

They were only demonstrations. It at all anything happens, it will only be done by Pak sponsored terrorists.Sent from my MX5 using Tapatalk BlueBee, Adi_91 and sandeep 3
