vishalvirsingh Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Being a Top Spinner .. it is for sure that Ashwin , Mishra and any other spinner will gain big under Kumble. but I am not too sure whether the Pacers would get the right guidance as ZAk is missing earlier they had at least bharat arun - now they don't have any pace bowling coach..kinda worrying me. tweaker 1
vishalvirsingh Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I was always mesmerized to see that Kumble's line n length were too accurate...always full length and never short of length. batsman used to play him fine till the batsman was happy defending and batsman with weak defence would always get out to Kumble. that's why all Pak batters cud not face him on a helpful track. I am sure spin bowlers will become deadly once he takes over. tweaker 1

Now MSD is also not there to stop the progress of phaaassssstttt bowlers. Don't know why the hell selectors ignore him. It includes selectors, ex cricketers as well. Thankfully aaron is send to Ind-A tour atleast and gud to see kumble inviting India-A bowlers to training camp. There has to be a change in mindset. I thought ganguly was one guy who had love for pace n finally i see same in virat but he only cant do anything. Fast bowlers have to be intimidating.The reason we blame Dhoni is for saying tht fast bowlers shud nt bowl fast n rather bowl line n length which is wrong His fast bowler shud fear opp not himself putting a fear in his mind. Look how AUs handled johnson n the guy was wayward for god knws how many yrs. Even when akram lacked control with white ball in 92 wc(almost 7 yrs after his debut) imran told him to just bowl fast u wud gain control n this has been mentioned by wasim in many interviews . Even andy roberts criticised dhoni statement and these guys knw a lot more about fast bowling. But then again the problem is whole system. Even EX bowlers like chetan sharma, madan lal, prabhakar, kapil dev say same shit then dhoni is jst a batsman. He is one Indian bowler who can bowl good quick bouncers and would have added value to the Indian bowling attack in WI. Regarding his development as a bowler, look at the 2nd video that you have posted. Ganguly is so excited seeing Aaron bowl fast and wants him to bowl more and more. We need captains like Ganguly who encourage fast bowlers to bowl quick only then we will develop good quick bowlers. Virat is the same in that aspect and encourages quick bowlers and probably he backed Aaron for WI tour but selectors have a different view and selected Shardul. Good that Aaron atleast is playing the A tour and India A bowlers are training with the Indian team in the preparatory camp. express bowling and tweaker 2
