But I am using same logic which modern people are biggest supporters and that let people exercise their choice.The people who ask women to look feminine and beautiful for their partners are considered as chauvinist .

Expecting women to be feminine and beautiful at standards that media projects is wrong.Can't compare normal women to photo shopped perfections or even women who require perfect looks for a living. These women spend a huge amount of money on trainers,surgeons and make up professionals....which normal women don't. Even otherwise,women are expected to put in effort into their looks more than men. My post was regarding special occasions like engagements and weddings. A guy can at least put some effort here.

People had to be told 'woh cute wala ladka dulhah hai'. That is why I feel when I see the girl all decked up and the guy putting in minimum effort for such occasions.
