BCCI has decided to host a shortened version of the IPL overseas every September, starting this year.

Interesting to see how it pans out.

 

If it succeeds, it'd be a good boost to the IPL brand globally.

 

SA, England and UAE are the convenient venues because of the time zones relative to IST. Aus, NZ and WI would be difficult.

 

A couple of ideas to try. Add 1-2 host nation players to each squad just for that leg of the tournament. 1 mandatory player from the host nation in every playing XI. Might make it more interesting for the audiences of the host nation.

The plan was to hold the matches in the United States after the success of the Cricket All-Stars.

I guess this is a replacement for that T20 champions league tournament?  If yes, its a good move.   September timeframe means they can play in UAE or South Africa, and realistically in UK/USA as well.

I don't know why they have planned it like this..

First have a crunched Intl T20 season early in the year.Then IPL. Now a months gap between Zim tour and WI tour when no players are common between the two tours. And then again crunched with mini IPL ,NZ's tour, ENGs tour , Bangladesh Test,and then AUS's tour.

What about the tours that are already planned?

Ireland and Australia tour of SA 

AUS tour of SL

And Pak tour of ENG (although this one doesn't matter much)

And No point in playing D/N dulleep Trophy if Indian senior players don't play....

 do it in USA... like New York... buy land...build a high level cricket stadium... also they can host 2-3 annual bilateral series between India and Australia/England etc...

And then slowly start conquering areas with an army armed with bats and balls and then soon the whole USA will be under out control . Kaboom.

This is the maximum response that anyone here will care to give you, so read up.

 

1, You are making sure your avatar comes out looking like an Aussie, we get that.

2, You have very poor english, very and its for all to see.

3, You have conspiracy theories to offer about IPL.

4, You construe and try to flout some internal Indian political dynamics ( there is always one in India about everything) about drought and IPL opposition in a particular state/theater as a norm(there is always someone opposing something democratically in India), without even having a basic understanding of it.

5, You appear green...my friend. Green with envy perhaps but might be green for some other reason. 

 

My advise for you dont hide behind some other country come out for who you are, people might take notice then of what you have to say and engage you. Else its just noise.
