He has a natural flair that you don't normally see with over-coached English players. I think Joe Root can be the first truly great English batsman in quite some time. shibnarayan and adi B 2

I never saw KP as a true English batsman, his batting style was typical South African with lot of cross batted shots, there was no text book orthodoxy which is seen in quintessential English batsmen. adi B and sandeep 2

Most of his tests are at home where he averages 60. To be known as one of the best batsmen, he needs to score consistently in different countries.
