They were lost in their intimacy with not a single piece of cloth on them, in shadows of the night with no forethought about anything else, and only a dim cradle disturbing the tenebrosity of the darkness.

Suddenly, a cell phone rang, she put her hand under the left side of a pillow which was stranding at the right side of the bed and brought a cell phone out, it was showing 12 o’clock, and she switched it off after looking at it. It was probably a reminder alarm bell she had set.

“Happy birthday, my dear husband…..I love you.” She got up a little towards him and murmured in his ears wearing a nice smile on her beautiful face.

“Love you too.” He promptly looked into her eyes, smiled, and then kissed her after an expected reply without stopping the act he was doing.

“After a long time, I am smiling and enjoying it. Your birthday and we both are together, but I am afraid to lose you.” She said it with moist eyes and hugged him, as he finished his act.

“Shivi, I am completely fine. Look at me…do you think I am sick? Why are you so concerned then?” He said while he caressed her hairs and lay beside her right side.

“I thought you should start afresh on your birthday, but no use talking about it with you because you never accept it and always stay in denial about how they have started to harm you!” She was furious and not for the first time since they got married 2 years back.

He did not reply back, was getting drowsy, and not able to keep his eyes open.

“Atharv, are you listening. Dr. Bhardwaj had called today?” She shouted at him as he was falling asleep.

“Please, shut up and let me sleep!” He opened his eyes slightly and mumbled.

“Good night.” She said. “Hope you are back to your senses by morning and think about it.” She then murmured to herself and draped the blanket over him and herself and switched off the cradle.

It's good. I like it. Continue writing.

It is a very complicated plot and only done 25 odd pages till now, has been halted for quite sometime now, as some other events keeping me busy.

Tenebrosity?

Critics will always be there.  Keep writing.  Hard to do, easy to say, but keep working at it.

Have to agree, he is one of the worst authors in terms of plot and language. No idea why he is so popular. I think he was a fad like Yo Yo Honey Singh and is now over
