A pity we ran into a Cairns special, otherwise match could have been in the bag. Did brilliantly against Oz and SA - Ganguly was imperious against latter.

This was Dussehra day too i remember.

 

Also not just Yuvi, our fielding as a team was brilliant this game I remember. Alan Wilkins and co were praising our fielding all day.

 

Yuvi batted pretty good and Zaheer got Waugh at a crucial time.

 

As soon as we won, I went to seee Ravana being burnt near my house and to have some good food from Dussehra special food stalls.

Zaheer clocked 90mph on the speed gun.Thats was a rare site for a Indian Fans.

My best memory of zaheer that tournament was that 90 mph yorker to Andrew hall, flooring the stumps, knew straight away this guy will serve indian cricket for long time.
