I'm waiting to see a lineup of fully fit Shami, Bhuvi and Yadav on a helpful track. Its gonna be good. We need a quality batting option who can give us at least some part-time overs at #6 abroad - even if its decent spin instead of pace. Its a bit annoying that none from the batch of Rahane, Nair, Pandey, etc etc can bowl decent. I know Kumble's been working on Pujara's legspin but that's a project and can give you a couple of overs at best.

The ones available as " specialist batsmen " perform like bit and pieces players too but lack the ability to give rest to our main spinners and chip in with an odd wicket or two. When a Pant or a Kishan is ready, then from No.6....Pant, Ashwin, Jaddu, Jayant at home.....or Pant, Ashwin, Pandya, Bhuvi...will look better and add value to the team.

Also Jayant Yadav seemed capable of scoring 150/175. He tried to accelerate and got out. Else if he had time left to play, he was set for 150/175??

And Jayant should have walked too, unless it was one of those decisions which even a batsmen is not sure about if he is actually out or not.
