Yes we have special eyes that will prevent us from seeing 90 mph bowlers from other countres.

The only reason why people are suspecting this is because it involves Pakistani cricketers. Pakistan Cricket have got a rich history of match fixing etc.  Can't blame for people thinking that history will repeat. 

 

Also another difference is that other countries give their players a lifeban if any of them are found guilty, not like your country which has a history of begging disgraced cricketers to come back.

How can a government legally stop a person from making a film on his life? This is not Pakistan buddy, here there are still some personal rights. Oh and * off with your xenophobic card throwing which you've done above. If you're not putting in your location and defending Pakistan, then everyone will rightly assume that you're a Pakistan. Stick that victim card somewhere else.

 

Being invited back to punditry and letting them play cricket again for country is two different things, but I don't think your simple mind can comprehend the difference.

Pointing out hypocrisy is not the same as defending something. I was all for Amir being banned for life.

Do you have any idea how popular Hansie Cronje was in South Africa, after he was caught?  Fans react to public figures differently everywhere.  

Besides, India is just so vast and the population so big and diverse that its very inaccurate to read anything into "public support".  And the movie industry has also made bio-pics on mafia men, terrorists and serial killers - does not indicate endorsement, only potential for profit.  

 

Bottomline is, if you attempt to draw false equivalence between the handling of fixers in India and Pakistan, not only is it factually inaccurate, its also very insulting and inflammatory to most Indians.  At the end of the day, Azhar and others were banned for life from cricket - where as in Pakistan, the Supreme Court Judge who passed the final verdict is on record saying that he let a player (or more) off the hook, because he was personally a big fan.  That's just one example of the glaring contrasts in how this issue has been handled in India vs our misguided neighbors.  

 

Based on what I have seen from a few of your posts, you seem like a reasonable guy and useful poster, so took the time to butt in and explain.
