express bowling Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Some of the power-hitters I have seen are Pant, Hardik, Krunal, Hooda, Kishan...even Axar can hit the ball long. It is very important for our LOI teams that we introduce a few of them in the no.5 to No. 8 slots. We have a good top 4 and our bowlers are decent...but the lack of power-hitters from No.5 to No. 8 may cost us big time. In the NZ series, we tried Axar and Hardik at No.7 and No.8 ( both are injured now )....but the crucial No. 5 and No. 6 slots are still devoid of big-hitters. Sandeep99 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Rohit, Dhoni (supposedly), Axar Patel (lols)
Sandeep99 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) I can see light in India' ODI fortunes with the incoming of KL Rahul. Dude can hit with ease. One of Nair and Pandey needs to establish for us to become a force in ODIs again. Kohli can only win you 70% of winnable matches. The rest 30% should be shared by the rest of the team. Edited December 30, 2016 by Sandeep99 Lannister, SecondSlip and tweaker 3

Ankit_sharma03 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Ill add sarfraz , feel he is a special kid. He may not hit the ball that hard n long but his cheeky shots are enough to make the scorecard run at srs quick rate Mosher, SecondSlip and tweaker 3
Malcolm Merlyn Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Pandey isnt a power hitter He is for KKR.

Mosher Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Pant needs to be in the team now. Ishan too is good. Sarfaraz is another one who has a lot of potential and has a good temperament. Doesn't crumble under pressure. He just needs to work on his fitness. express bowling 1
Cricketics Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 People forget but Raina is our biggest power hitter and one of the most consistent player in our IPL history. There is a reason why he has played so many games and is the most capped player in IPL. I would pick him ahead of anyone in our twenty20 squad. He is a must for twenty20. sandeep 1

He is found out. Any bowler who bowls 135+ starts bowling bouncers as soon as he comes in and he becomes a sitting duck, did not have a good IPL too. There is a reason he was dropped.

Pant is the guy At his age, its shouldnt take much of a time and there are people ahead of him in line so he has that time. Have seen few of his pics on social netwoking sites and there has been a huge improvement in his fitness
