Best bowling attack

Which is the best bowling attack in the world now.

 

Indian bowling attack of Shami,Yadav,Ashwin & Jadeja looks best in Indian conditions, but it is found wanting when we step outside.

 

SA bowling attack of Rabada ,Philander,Abbot,Maharaj has looked good ,both in SA & Australia. 

 

We will know Aussie attack of Staarc,Hazlewood,Bird,Lyon when they tour India.

On seam friendly or bouncy pitches - 1. SA, 2. Aus, 3. Eng (due to the depth coz of Woakes & Stokes), 4. Ind

On flattish & spin friendly pitches - 1. Ind, 2. SL & Pak, 4. Eng, 5. SA

Lots of depends on the attitude of selectors.We think our next batch of pacers are Nathu,Aniket,Ankit,Siraj but our selectors select Vinay,Dinda,Mohit out of nowhere .

South Africa have the best seam attack.

India has the best spin attack.

There really isn't an attack you can say ,is the best attack in the world at the moment.

Just like teams , the bowling attacks quality also vary on the conditions they play.

South Africa has the best attack overall (apart from when they're playing in India because of the lack of a good spinner). India has the best attack for sub continent. I believe we will do much better in our next away cycle with Shami, Ishant and Yadav. Australia are up next with Hazlewood, Starc and Lyon. I found some respect for Lanka after recent showing in South Africa. Lakmal and Herath are good. England is fine but they're not cut out for Asan conditions - one trick ponies. New Zealand is good in New Zealand and poor elsewhere.

 

The rest - Bangladesh, Pakistan, WI - I don't rate them.

Only Pak, Aus and SA have real fast bowlers. Rest are just medium pacers attack. Indian And SL attack is basically spin attack. They use medium pacers to take shine off new ball to make way for their spinners.

Ok champ. Pak have "real fast bowlers". Couldn't really get past that comical comment 

 

We all saw what the "real fast bowlers" are capable of over the past few months and we get to see the same in nearly every global tourney

Now the fastest attack in world is of India with Shami,Yadav,Ishant capable of bowling above 145 kmph consistently

India also has good pool of fast bowlers in it reserves in.Aaron,Bhubuneshwar,Shardul,Nathu etc.

India again has the luxury of choosing different bowlers for different conditions.

They can strengthen their spin attack with Mishra,Axar,Kuldeep,Jayant,Shahbaz,Chahal etc.

 

For England conditions we can choose Bhubaneshwar,Sandeep  Sharma,Rishi Dhawan etc.

South African bowlers have won them series in SA, Aus, Eng, WI, NZ and managed them to draw matches in UAE and SL. They bowled well in India also.

India, SA, Aus and Eng all look pretty decent, but none of those attacks could be truly called as best overall. As many people are saying here, it all depends on conditions.

Maharaj is a new untested spinner. We don't know how he will fare in spin friendly conditions.
