Whinging Morgan in Media

To be honest Morgan is not wrong that idiot umpire gave wrong decision on the crucial stage of the match which cost england Chao's would have ensured if it was other way round

ICC should allow third umpire's involvement in case of horrible decision just as they do it for no balls

What a bunch of whining losers . What never played cricket before and had a bad umpiring decision against them

what they want us to list all the awful decisions against india in reply . Jeez what a bunch of twats

desteoyed in tests. Beaten in odis . All they have left is meaningless t20s and are like beggars with no food . Pathetic from England .

Kohli on trophy whitewash wash trail and moaning England can't handle it

The cry-baby part is not over bad-umpiring whines, but about having no DRS. They could have insisted on DRS before the start of the series. He was perfectly happy not having DRS in the first t20I. Now, that he lost on some decisions, he starts crying about not having DRS.

England umpires never make mistakes do they . Perfect decision makers and awesome at what they do

I main England to take up the lbw with match referee !!! What a bunch of losers . I repeat have these jokers ever played cricket , is this first umpiring mistake they have seen . What next lodge complaint to ICC ?

Ridiculous reaction . England becoming like Bangladesh

Morgan has every right to whine, his team got robbed, when we watch Sydney 08 even now we think of Bucknor and Bruce Oxenford and calculate what ifs, so nothing wrong with Morgan pointing out to the fact his team got robbed yesterday.

We need to win fair and square. I do not understand why there were no referrals in this T20 series.

There is no similarity at all here. Root was anyway struggling so the only thing to affect them would be one more ball. Couldn't score 3 runs in 5 balls, how could they have scored 8?

Who are you to say that Root could not score, he is very much capable of scoring  more than Ali did and that's all Morgan was saying and he has every right to say.

How is it different from Sydney 08, in Sydney Indian bowlers had many more chance to get Symonds out but they could not do so.

7 would be required off 5 since Root got to the other end.

Even if 40 were required off the last over, you never want crap umpiring.

Was it even crap umpiring . So many times lbw given after edge not detected

happens all the time

Indian umpire makes same mistake all umpires do and suddenly drama

Indian team complains about our own umpires too. Like when india had umpire kulkarni kicked out for giving decisions against india.

In Sydney clearly the whole match was affected and the decisions were atrocious. Here in all likelihood the decision wouldn't have made a difference to the result looking at how Bumrah bowled and to be honest that wasn't even a howler.

Yes you don't want bad umpiring but it happens nearly every game.

No Sydney also had very few decisions, it was a test match so it will have more decisions in general so we have more disputes. In this match there were three contentious decisions all of them went against England.

While you are entitled to think that match result would not change, they are also entitled to think that they got robbed. We want DRS every match to eliminate these howlers. You want to win the match on the field and not due to umpiring decisions favoring your team.

Harsh on Morgan.  He has nothing to do with the whining history of previous English cricketers, and in this case, it was a poor decision anyway.  It doesn't matter that Root was stinking it up and it wasn't as if that decision alone cost England the game.  Lost in the poor decision is what a brainfart of a shot was played by Root on that ball anyway.   As much as Root's batting is quality, in T20 and ODI, one always gets the feeling when watching him bat, that the brainfade and the "self-out" is never too far away.

DRS should be added to T20 asap by ICC.

I don't think Indian fans should be too excited about the whining or winning this game.  Good that Bumrah bowled well.  But our batting keeps stinking up the joint.  The focus should stay on that, and the much needed reform that's over due.

If someone can average 40+ with a strike rate of 130+ in t20is I'd still happily take that feeling for it anyway of the week .

Yeah someone posted ODI numbers for Shikhar Dhawan and Joe Root recently - I'm not too bothered to dig them up again.  Difference is that Shikhar Dhawan is in danger of being dropped from the ODI team, while Root is probably the next captain for England across all formats.

Not to bash Root - I've posted on ICF earlier that I think he edges VK in test batting, purely on batting ability - and this is after the latest series.  VK's bloodymindedness might just see him post better numbers - but that's not the same thing.  But let's be honest, Root does seem to throw it away quite often - for the statistical minded, that's reflected in his "conversion" rate for one thing.

Numbers are just that.  Numbers.  Kohli is neither as great as his numbers in Australia, or as bad as his numbers in England.  From a purely batting perspective, in my opinion, Root is a better bat.  Its very close, but to me, Root is better.  But VK trounces him in the temperament department.  And still to be seen how he handles captaincy if England give it to him.  As an overall package, VK is a better pick for anyone starting a team.
