Another difficult pitch and Kohli misses again. It's a trend now.

When Kohli was dismissed today, the pitch was still behaving decently with an odd ball turning.

The pitch started to misbehave after around 3 hours of batting time.

His recent Asia cup innings against pak

We were 6-3 isn't it ? Amazing rescue that was :aha: Ball going in all directions from Amir

50 50 still the way he rescued is still amazing unlike that joker who gets out for a duck vs Amir every time JUST AN ORDINARY BOWLER

This was not a difficult pitch. Kohli has already proven himself before on a more difficult pitch under extreme circumstances. Not surprised by the usual posters who are taking potshots at kohli.

Also the score to get was 83....wouldn't call it a rescue.

Tough pitches or flat pitches, what really matter these days is playing in tough situations when team is in trouble, tough pitches aren't really that tough to bat after certain number of overs that a failure or a good knock on a certain pitch can be considered extrmely great and be hyped.

A tough cricket ODI pitch isn't tough like a day 5 test pitch that it is turning or cutting square that it is extrmely hard to bat.

Its all about tough situations when it comes to ODI's and that is what Kohl has excelled in and been brilliant overall barring world cup playoff record which he will eventually fix once he has played more such games as he is stil 29 and still has good 6-7 years left  at least to face more icc games.

What a pathetic post and pathetic opportunist moment lol

How is opportunist? He has missing consistently whenever other batsman others find it difficult to survive. He is good player under pressure situation, but not in difficult conditions. Be it Aus and SA home series, England away series, Pakistan ODIs series in 2012. Whether the balls swings and seams or turns, he rarely survives. You can almost be sure that if India has lost 6-7 wickets for less than 200, then Kohli would have failed too. He hardly seems like a player who can play Dravid, Tendulkar, Sehwag, Laxman type solo warrior innings where bowler is making the ball talk.

Happened in CT 17 and now this match.

Rahane, Rahul, Pujara, Vijay all have survived in certain types of difficult conditions despite shorter career. Kohli's inability to lift himself on pitches which are not flat is big question mark.

Check the list above in my first post of this thread.

You cannot dismiss all those knocks

Today, the pitch is not difficult and not a turner.  A mystery bowler not known to us have us reeling perhaps because we were a bit too casual.

When Kohli got out today, we were 118 for 3 chasing 231 .... not under pressure at all either due to the pitch or the situation.  The pressure was created when Kohli and Rahul were dismissed too.
