List the busted myths

I was going to wait to post this until after we win the series just in case I look like a fool if we lost, but then decided that I look like a fool anyway, so here goes.

A dozen busted myths:

(1) Indian team is meek and easily mentally disintegrated.

(2) Indian team relies on one or two individuals for all their wins.

(3) Indian cricketers care only about their individual records.

(4) Indian fast bowlers lack fitness, stamina and brains.

(5) Indian cricket needs foreign coaches because .... well, they do.

(6) Pujara is too slow and must be dropped; we don't care he hurt his knees, just drop him.

(7) Rahane is terrible at home and must be dropped.

(8) Wriddhiman Saha must be dropped.

(9) Ashwin is losing it; we don't care he has an injury, he's overweight and must be dropped.

(10) Kohli is a great captain, Dhoni was horrible.

(11) Dhoni was a great captain, Kohli is horrible.

(12) Catches win matches :-)!!

Good one...also 13)Aussies are way better with using DRS than India.

                        14) Spinners alone win you matches in SC

We do need a foreign fast bowling.

We will regret it as usual when we tour overseas.

I don't disagree; we could get consultants for specific tours.

Ashwin has an injury ?

Sports hernia is what we are hearing. But, looks like he has magical self-healing powers that he can invoke exactly when needed - Rajni-style.

Better to get a permanent one though. So that they can work with our bowlers long term and can have clear future plans

Damn. He could be out for six months if thats the case. Sports hernia takes long time to heal coz it usually means lower stomach hernia...

He is, when it comes to overall keeping skills. Not against spinners, but against pacers, yes.

Both Msd had problems Against Spinners when he started but he improved but still he is nowhere near saha when it comes to catching or collecting ,Msd had advantage only in area of stumping.

That's one for Myth Busted, so he is saying Saha is an upgrade from Dhoni. Against spinners, I don't think he would have tried the two catches in this match, Smith's in 1st and Wade's in second.

Yeah, MSD wasn't an exceptional catcher but he was an exceptional stumper and collector of outfield throws. Some run-outs MSD manufactured could've only been done by him.

Another myth busted.

India cannot win if they falter in the 1st innings. In this case, we floundered and yet comfortably won.
