Trichromatic Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Flat pitch and again good returns for him. He is slowing edging ahead of Ashwin with his performances in last few months. Sidhoni 1
Pollack Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 He bowled twice the number of overs as Ashwin. Not nitpicking. Jadeja is accurate. Ashwin is more skilled. rahulrulezz and SLICKR392 2

Gollum Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Dont forget that ashwin is suffering from sports hernia since the nz series. Takes guts to bowl despite an injury. Sent from my SM-G350E using Tapatalk
~ Miss Warner ~ Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Ashwin just looks tired to be honest, he looks like he needs a few months off cricket, kick his heels up on a beach somewhere and re-energize. I think he is the better bowler of the 2, he's just flat right now. sandeep 1
MK55 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Have always felt Ashwin doesnt impart that many revs on the ball. Thats important to be effective in the first innings on pitches that are slow and dont turn big. Jadeja at least bowls quicker in the air.

I was speaking of this match about overs.Jadeja has been much better recently and that coincides with ashwin's sports hernia and yet ashwin is also doing no bad. When one is not totally fit it reflects in ones performance for sure. This makes you feel Jadeja is better than or equal to Ashwin which ATM is not unfair. Edited March 17, 2017 by Pollack
WeStMiDz Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 It's just a great combination, no need to have a debate as to who is better. When one is going well the other sits in and plays the support role. Gollum 1

Ashwin wasnt.
rkt.india Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Ashwin's stats are a bit misleading. He isnt as good as his stats show.
helperononline Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Ashwin is good only on turning tracks he has flopped in most of the flat pitches
