He is our trump card. I am sure all the opposition teams would spend a significant amount of time discussing how to tackle him. He is our game breaker. So no question of him getting exposed. More he plays, more he will mature and get better. Rest him occasionally in IPL as part of workload management but I will not be overtly worried about teams planning against him. Him and Chahal bowling together in middle overs, even if teams try to play out one defensively, other will get us the wickets. But have to ensure both play together in every match. BCCI has no right to instruct any of the club owners to rest specific players. They can request owners to rest critical players in unconsequential games but if playoff spots are at stake, BCCI babu's will be told to f--k off. Link to comment

Would have been great if the IPL was in SA, not very hot, bouncier tracks, would have prepared the bowlers and batsmen better for the WC. Link to comment

Fairly obvious which direction they will take. IPL is mainly full of high school girls, they will get over losing a few players in the last part of the tournament. Link to comment

He had an immense performance in 96 WC semi as well vs WI, chasing 207, WI were 170/2, and then collapsed in a heap. Link to comment

Mentally weak or strong, He is ranked 7 in one-dayers 5 in T20. He is our game-changing bowler in the world cup. So him losing confidence impacts India as well. He should be rested by KKD.
