Bumrah and Bhuvi did not mix their lengths at all.

 

Almost all deliveries were back of a length  and off stump with only 1 bouncer bowled in the first 10 overs. and very few fuller-good length deliveries.

 

It can be termed as too quality  defensive bowling....or some people will be disappointed as lengths were not mixed up and wicket-taking wasn't the primary intention.

Bumrah comes back for his 2nd spell

 

He mixed his lengths in the first over of that spell

 

Bowled a superb yorker to Faf

 

Made ABDV jump twice with the bounce that he got.

 

Could have got a wicket

 

I like this type of bowling better on flat tracks.

Bumrah has bowled super fast in this tournament and got his first wicket.

Still he has been super fast and restrictive.

Umesh n shammi are wicket taking bowlers..we need one of them also to play. Today they have lost their best batsman run out.

Second with a swinging yorker

Bhuvi hitting the deck hard now and getting seam movement and a bit of bounce

 

Picks up 2 wickets as a result.

 

I like it that he is not a one dimensional swing bowler anymore.

Very impressed with Bumrah these days.

 

Very rarely have I seen a pacer bowl 138 k to 148 k with such pinpoint accuracy for quite a few matches in a row.....but Bumrah is doing it.

 

If he can mix lengths like he did in his later spells today....he will be a top bowler.

What 2 wickets? Did you forget tail-ender wickets don't count or maybe they only don't count when Umesh takes them like in the Pak match 

Seriously though Bhuvi has been really impressive since he gained pace and improved his death bowling skills. He is a hard worker and I am sure we will see improvements in his wickets column too.

We actually have a lot of rich fast bowling resources. Great time to watch. Can't wait for South Africa series.
