Totally agree, most would have gone for a century and gotten out. He made sure to stay there so he remains not out for the team and finishes the job and win by most possible wickets and also talk to kids like Tamim later and teach them about a particular shot or two as you could see him in the video doing it right after the game.

Most selfless captain ever.

:cheer:

Sorry I didn't get this part? Sounds controversial?

whatevr happens to the game , scoring 30s in T20s , 50s and 100s are more important than the bigger cause :p:

also Rohit too didnt slowdown so that kohli can reach his 100..

i think 47 was needed and kohli was at 69 , needing 31 for the win ..

kohli encouraged rohit to play his natural game and go for the shots :hail:

Yeah and playing proper shot according to the ball unlike some glory hunters who want to finish with 6.

if you are brave enough and talented like HIM , you can anything for a six :bandit:

Please don't remind me of those dark days how team suffered when tukbtuk guy self proclaimed to be god of mumbai ruined it for Ind fans:no:

He over stayed and hurt India but thankfully we got a Legend mahendra bahubali who took this young squad and transformed everything taught them how to win CT WC T20  mainly how to be selfless and the lecacy continues

Selfless era has began long time back...

Future generations will have no clue who that phony is... lets bury those dark days of opener forever:hatsoff:

I am glad Kohli didn't ask him to slow down. I think some players and captain could ask their fellow team mate to slow down for their milestone. Kohli aint like that.

any professional cricketer wouldn't do that especially a captain.   Do you expect Williamson or ABD or Smith doing that ?
