Being too dependent on Kohli is still costing us crucial ODI games

Kohli alone can't win us the WC. Our bowling has straightened out. It's time out batting does well. Kohlii should sit out the rest of the series or at least come after dhoni and jadhav now. Too many hasbeens.

Yes, you know the runs he scored between 80- 110 he looked really tired. He started throwing his bat that time and was kind of in a hurry too and was coughing also. I think the guy needs rest anyways.

We used to play Mohammed kaif as an extra cushion batsman and made Dravid to keep for that. We should try this again with Shreyas Iyer. Throwing Jadhav out.

Right now Jadhav gets to play partly because of his underarm off-spin. With chahal n Kuldeep in such good form we don't need those lowly darts. Should replace with a proper batsman. Hope Iyer is a gun fielder.

We don't gain any extra cushion by swapping one batsman with another.

What I meant was that purely on batting calibre - Iyer >>>> Jadhav. It's his part-time spin and hitting tag that seems to work for him.

yes, his ability to bowl 2-4 overs if needed has helped him undoubtedly.

Iyer needs to play in place of Rahane. I just don't trust Rahane. Iyer can keep a good SR also.

Yes, Kohli does not have a great average in the finals at this time, and against Pakistan there is always plenty of pressure on players, and in those games Kohli has always performed while others have regularly struggled in recent history.

 

Yesterday's Kohli failure with the bat showed how we have collapsed again without anyone else taking any responsibility. Show again how bad we are with the bat overall in the middle order past Kohli. You need reliability at the end of the day and we don't have that much at this time after Kohli.
