That's a stupid argument I hear...if it's a UN council  or something obviously we can't boycott it because Pakistan is there but if it's a bilateral talk we can always say NO.

Why should we share profits because a series with Eng,Aus,SA is equally profitable for us so we don't need to play Pakistan. And the golden goose IPL is always there.

It's not like India via the BCCI need the money either. If you're going to stop cricket between the two sides, stop it altogether. Don't do half and half.

 

Some things I don't like about cricket.

 

1. ODI cricket. It's toal garbage.

2. India's stance on bilterateral cricket with Pakistan.

3. Pakistan's insistence of bringing religion into a sport. They should be seperate.

4. Flat pitches. I absolutely despise them.

5. Fans of big scoring matches, they are clowns who don't know what cricket is about.

1. Cricket is very popular for Indians, including soldiers and their families..

2. World Cup/Champions trophy and team performance is something we look forward to when we rate our team in the world

3. If we lose in those, we get upset and that includes all cricket loving Indian people, including soldiers

4. If not playing pakistan in those trophy almost means we are playing with one less game.. (for example, if we had forfeited our pak game in league match and lost to lanka, we would be out of the tournament.. if we had some how made it to final against pak and forfeited final match.. then...??? )

 

So in grand scheme of things, with all logic in place, most of us think that playing pak in bilateral series does not benefit India and morale of soldiers and their families.. etc..  (it benefits much more to pak) but playing them in ICC tournament is a must as it harms us a lot more..

 

Please tell me you get it..

 

Many Pakistani dont undestand this because they put religion first and then country... its vice versa for most Indians.

I think a series is around the corner albeit a short LOI series. BCCIs ego is hurt with that loss and would do everything to restore it back. Remember how BCCI is determined of not inviting BD until they beat us in the series? Lets face it, Indian team is better than Pak in every aspect. So a loss of that margin is unacceptable. BCCI and Indian govt has made very clear it does not want any bilateral series with Pakistan . Period . And no this phase wont go away anytime soon
