The place Vijay shankar is from ethinically in TN, i have seen really well built folks during my college days. Easy volleyball players and atheletes, remarkably tall i mean greater than 6' 3". But often poor food habits and muscle loss after early 20s.

Is he from South Tamilnadu? As a volleyball fan, I know lot of terrific volleyball players who can smash the living bejesus out of a volleyball , coming from that region.

How much role does lack of nutricious diet while growing up play in  current fitness levels. Specially bone development and bone injuries?

Guys like Nathu  and Munaf come from very humble background .

Check out the physique of pacer Israr Azeem from UP. He is not regular even in UP ranji team but can burn even the best of the models by his physique.

seems like he does not work hard enough on his fitness like other pacers are doing currently. He seems to be like Munaf and Shami with a laid-back attitude.

i would like to compliment SHAMMi as he was always slower than Umesh yadav earlier and now with his bulging biceps and powerful physique , he is regulraly beating Umesh yadav on speed, he is all the more skiddy and MORE wicket taking with his swinging Skills..his record is this that when ever he comes to bowl , captain puts attacking fielding at what ever stage of the match.

Don't know why ICF people only talk about krunal, vijayshanker, pant, nitish rana etc. when it comes to odi middle order pick.

I think we need a proper technical batsman with hitting ability who can bowl 5 overs too. Deepak hooda looks ideal to me.

Don't know about his fielding and athleticism though. How is he?

Hooda still has a long way to go. He still needs to improve a bit. You dont want a great technical batsman at 6 or 7.

Good point

I know with Munaf he came to cricket late partly why he was not the most athletic
