Please rest kohli from Sri Lanka games

Nah, he should not play the full Test series. Maybe play only one Test (say only Test-2) and then skip the rest of the series.

Per BCCI 'rumors' - he is set to play Test-1 and 2 and then skip all others.

Seems he is playing all 3 Tests, IMO he should play only one Test.

Kohli,Bhuvi,Rohit and if possible “rest” Dhoni and  try a new keeper just to get him acclimated with international cricket.

The scheduling in the build up to the SA tour is terrible

 

Especially hard on VK he is really the only one who consistently plays all 3 formats. I would have suggested resting him from NZ series, let him play SL tests and rest him from SL ODIs. 

 

NO test regulars should be playing the SL LOIs

Kohli , Pandya both shud be rested from Odi series and even bhuvi to 

Rahane shud not be picked at all 

 

That series shud be used to give chances to Rahul , iyer , shankar , if fit krunal or Gowtham 

 

Also lets try rohit as Odi captain

Kolhi will likely wait until India are 0 - 2 down and under pressure before taking a convenient 'rest' much like he did vs Australia this year.

 

And when he does, I'll go down to my betting shop and put $500US on an Indian win as Pujara is a far better captain who unites the team.  Kolhi is better off giving up the captaincy and focusing on his own performance

It will be a good series if we can blood in our youngsters but doubt that will happen. This is the sort of series where guys like Shaw, Washington, Iyer can be eased in. Kohli, Dhawan, Rahane, Bhuvi should be rested because they have played too much of cricket in recent times.

Yes, we should play the next best players in the 11. Then this series is a good series.

But no use playing the "experienced usual set of regular squad, players" which is what BCCI does.
