More than even Kohli I applaud Vijay and Rahane for their guts today. Kohli is in great nick but these 2 had some mental demons to overcome, both passed with flying colours.

BTW to all the phateechars gloating over here, this thread is about rahane's form, don't see how today's innings changes the fact that rahane was in very poor form, idiots showing more idiocy as usual

Can we all agree ? The second name in test batting squad after Kohli should be Rahane. When abroad, he should be first name in the squad.

Lol I think you don’t read the forum, I have been crying for 3-4-5 of Pujara-Kohli-Rahne from ages.

 

You have habit of making stuff up or find me the lines where I said Rahane doesn’t deserve to be in Indian team.

 

I have been his biggest supporter when you guys have asked him to be replaced by Nair and co.

 

 

Read again and query 3-4-5 on ICF and you would see what I am talking about.

Please tell me what are your candidates if you disagree with above after knowing Rahane first has to ensure he reserves his place by scoring runs.

Technically if India has a good coach he would make it clear that after this series everything resets to zero and people have to fight for their postitions.
