Straight Drive Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) Rajasthan have forgotten to pick bowlers. They only have Jofra Archer. Mumbai, Punjab and Rajasthan dont even have playing 11. Edited January 27, 2018 by Straight Drive

Dada's Army Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Intersting stat for DD. Pant- 15CR Shaw=1.87 CR Pant is 8 times more expensive than Shaw even though you could make a good argument Shaw is already better than Pant. Thank god Ponting has brought some sense into this franchise.
beetle Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Poor PP didn't get a bidder and broke his finger too. Singh bling 1

The team gets deducted by 15 cr but the negotiated price with the player is 8+.

WC2011INDIA Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Kinda shocked that RR didn't get Tahir..he did very well in the last IPL for RPS.

Ahh I see. 3 minutes ago, rkt.india said: Shaw better than Pant in t20 only in your dreams. See Shaw hasn't played any t20s but looking at his attacking nature( 73 FC strike rate) and a far superior technique to Pant are just a couple of reasons he's can be a successful opener. And its not like Pant has set the IPL alight. I would list them quite close to each other in terms of value. Maybe put Pant slightly ahead but not by a huge amount.

Shaw doesn't seem to have the power you need to hit big shots. In FC, you get lot of gaps. Pant is not marginally ahead, but a gap of sky between the two in LOI cricket. Even Shubhman Gill better than shaw.

YCCC Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Disappointed that Stokes and Buttler have gone to one of the weaker teams. Can see Woakes and Ali getting absolutely tonked at the Chinnaswamy. Even more disappointed that no one wants Root. His stats in T20 aren't bad and if Williamson and Smith can do it he can. Plus pretty 50s and 60s are gold in T20.

Top order batsman, wicket keeper, local for Delhi so fan base will be there. Has ton in recent SMA trophy. He is a proven IPL and T20 cricketer. Also was in Indian T20 squad. He is proven quality and climbed the ladders in short format. Prithvi is unknown. There is huge difference in both as far as IPL is considered. beetle and tweaker 2
