IPL auction distracted from their goals.

What was the need to hold an auction right when there's an important match going on. What's the point of playing such series if you are not serious in the first place. Firstly, they messed up with their Practice matches, then the rotten team selection policies and now this.  BCCI is hitting new lows day by day. Is there no end to their ineptness?

Competition for eyeballs from Star sports...They have had huge losses from champions league t20. 

 

ps: they got that silly SL series scheduled and now IPL auctions... they are also making sure the matches of double headers coincide to have people subscribe to more than one star sports channel
