We were the pioneers of picking big hitters for inaugural t20 World Cup (not because of tactical genius of BCCI but because of self awareness of Dravid, Ganguly and SRT). Once we won the tourney and IPL got established, BCCI began to care more about t20 and since then it has been held back by vested interests (the biggest of which is Dhoni as captain).
