RCB needs Kohli to get out after powerplay. That's the best Kohli can do. He is very good in first 6 overs but just get out after 6 overs. There should be enough batting for others to score in remaining overs and play full 20 overs.

Even that, he has mostly been scoring run a ball. It looks really good that they haven't lost a wicket, but they are typically scoring at 6-7 rpo

WTF News of the Day!!

RCB bring in Jadhav as injury replacement for Willey

Seeing the trend, they might even contemplate on bringing Mohammad Kaif in. All the oldies are having fun with zero pressure. Ishant, Mishra, chawla, Mohit, MSD, Rahane

Viart is part of the problem not solution as Aakash chopra tries to imply. They were always top heavy side.

This is from 11 years back.  Famous Kohli over to Albie lol Look at their lower order. Pujara is their finisher :phehe: Also look at Lohli's strike rate

RCB has no other option but to wait till Kohli retires. He can play till 41-42 so most likely RCB has to wait that long before they can start from scratch.

Unlike Dhoni who led CSK to a title even as a pensioner, Kohli hasn't won a single championship and falters like clockwork in knockout games. I don't understand why the RCB franchise and fans want to keep him.

Brand value. THey can use him for variety of commercials.   Not like DHoni doesn't have brand value. He managed to have both brand value and produce wins. RCB never cared about his performance.  They want him in the squad even if he is in wheelchair to make the most out of his popularity. In current form Dhawan is far more useful to PKXI than Kohli to RCB.

Dhoni is a proven, repeat winner in the IPL and he deserves all the brand value he gets. The same cannot be said for Kohli. Anyways, whatever floats the sponsors boats I guess. Good for them and Kohli.
