vvvslaxman Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 (edited) This guy won a T20 against India too. Saved tests. Very unlike south African. An ABDV would have choked for sure. Edited May 22, 2018 by vvvslaxman randomGuy 1
velu Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 He choked few times in knockouts i guess. He ranout AB DV vs NZ Garuda 1
Garuda Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Lol Saffers are a mentally strong bunch apart from their world cup choking. They didnt keep hammering Aus and Eng in their own homes for 3 straight times until last year when they lost to Eng. Indians can learn a thing or two from them but we never do.
maniac Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Proof that when given multiple lives and assistance no one is a choker Garuda 1

upriser7 Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 ABD played a similar knock against Gujarat in 2016 IPL Qualifier1. Infact ABD's knock was better...RCB were something 40/5 and had to chase 170.. ABD took them home. ABD also did play a very good knock in the 2015 WC SF...not his fault that rain played spoilsport. He also did score 3 50's in the last 4 games of season for RCB, which were virtual knockouts. speedheat, The Hound, philcric and 1 other 1 3
The Hound Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 ABDV played a better innings than him in 2016 qualifier 1 under pressure sensible-indian 1

vvvslaxman Posted May 22, 2018 Author Posted May 22, 2018 Faf has done lot of incredible things for his side.
rkt.india Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 25 runs of 11 balls were scored by tailenders. He didn't have anything left to choke.

With his fortuitous two boundaries, Shardul shredded any chance of choking. If he had got out cheaply, Faf would have tightened up and would have been prone to choking.

He could have very well chocked in that over. Fauf could have choked any time. He didn't. No cold feet. He just stood and blasted the bowling. Garuda 1

To get his team so close to the target was itself an amazing achievement. Towards the end I thought maybe his luck will run out or the batsmen at the other end would get dismissed but that never happened.
