All I am saying that India can still manage without the need of Rohit Sharma. So what unique traits does he bring to the team again?

  • look at his record, i think he has avg 50+ consistently for last 5 yrs
  • when he gets set he gets a big one and hurts like no one
  • he is a quality player 
  • good fielder 
  • going to be next captain 
  • Can change gears like no one does
  • Is a beast in flat conditions which we will get in WC in ENG
  • He is a match winner 
  • Experienced player bhi hai 
  • Is a part of core group, n its not right to fiddle with core group of the team before WC ( yes poor intent towards fitness shud be unacceptable)
  •  his limitation are not our biggest of the problems

He is not going to be the next captain because Kohli is to be here for the next 7-8 years.
Next captain will probably be Shreyas Iyer (another Bunty Product) or if we are lucky, maybe somebody else.

nope , he has set high standards for himself in regards to fitness and seen the result sp why wnt he wanna apply that to team and take them to next level . Coz at the end it will help him only as captain
 
I get tired when i hear captain only thinks about polltics, if he is smart enough...he ll knw politics wnt win him games and defeats wud cost him his captaincy .

I dnt think , neither was ganguly who was blamed so much in his time and not dravid

Why is it so tough to accept that other person can think differently

 

If kohli thinks rohit can be a good test player u can disagree and criticise but dnt call it politics. HE can think different from u 

 

They all were good captain and its not possible by just doing politics.

Kohli is a bad LOI captain n for the sake of his own batting its better he doesnt hold on to captaincy burden for long atleast in LOI formats

Rohit is a good captain

 

Let shreyas earn a permanent spot 1st which i doubt he ll be able to

Just answer one simple question. How many ICC tournaments did we win in last 4-5 years? Even SL has won one in that time.

Still we are a better team then SL isnt it?

Post 2000 WI has won ct 2004, twice t20WC winner........still considered a bad team

Sa has only won CT in 1998 still n was always considered damn good team

Pak won CT 2017 but doesnt make them a better team then us 

 

N tomm if u have game against SA, SL, WI ........ull fear SA.

 

Cricket is just not about WC, yes its the highest prize but not the only one 

 

Now coming back to rohit sharma, so ur saying only rohit sharma is responsible for for all WC losses in last 4-5 yrs. 

We did win 2013 CT which was 5 yrs ago, rohit played his part in 1st two games and as fielder to.

Kohli is no Tendulkar LMAOOO.
If he steps down as Captain, then his brand image will be harmed.

I have no doubts that Rohit is a better captain though

No. But Rohit Sharma is one of our problems because he don't have anything to offer against strong teams because as you said he is nothing but a flat track bully. Why do you want to keep such FTBs in the team? 

 

For me, Cricket is all about WCs and Test matches.
