Good news but batting was the problem last time.

Deepak  Chahar shot to limelight at the age of 18 when he bagged 8 for 10 on his Ranji Trophy debut to skittle out Hyderabad for 21. He ended that season with 30 wickets.

 

However, a spate of injuries and illness saw him fade away.

Reminds me a lot of Pravin Kumar and Munaf Patel and we all know how that turns out.

He is no pk or munaf. Those two were lazy asses.  He isnt. He has worked hard from bowling 120 to 140. No other bowler has done it Indian cricket.

You make it sound like as if he's next Wasim. All I witnessed today was a Trundler receiving a phainty of his life.

First game on a flat pitch where every bowler has gone at around 10 rpo both sides. Also, picked an important Wicket of Roy who scored 67 in 31.

In the same game another debutant outbowled him fair and squarely.

Anyway I hope you are proven right as his career progesses but I see no hope.

Chahar is a wicket taker. He has more variations. In swinging  conditions he will leave everyone to dust.
