Was just reiterating that India should have chased down that target if they had 25 overs to play in the final innings!!! Not impossible even in those days I believe. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Sandeep99
I hope they're back, at least saves us the embarrassment of losing to a substandard side. Warner and Smith will ensure India gets that dignity of losing to a strong enough side. UrmiSinhaRay, zen, Turning_track and 2 others 1 4 Link to comment
Zero_Unit
Cric Aus should have known better. What were they thinking? Should have banned them for maybe 4-6 months at most. Already hurting their pocket. They Baned their best two players and thought they would still play like Champs? Even Afg will give this australian team without Warner + Smith a run for their money. It is not just that, they did not show any urgency in taking the wickets on final morning either. Old Cricinfo had match reports and also interviews. That was last time and only time India and Australia were on even keel in Australia. Aussies have gone on to become a dynasty by simple philosophy you play to win every game. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Nikola
Highly doubt now they will release bans. If they have to do then will be in next few days else might just comeback in march for IPL. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

This is from 1985, we were already WC champs. Srikanth was opener and scored 86(89) in first innings. It could have been at least attempted, something doesn't add up. Link to comment

I was dragged in to this by a Sachin fan because I rate Gavaskar as Ind's best test batsman Link to comment

Srikanth also did not show any urgency . Link to comment
