Indian fast bowlers get carried away when there is too much help

We lacked effort in the morning session,bowlers didn't know what length to hit .in the afternoon session the pitch completely changed and it was probably then and the evening session when we should have probably pitched the ball a bit up with the quickened up pitch as compared to the morning session where pitching the ball up wasn't giving any rewards .

We gave easy runs to head and marsh

They were all too short. Not enough balls on good length. This point was well covered (at least in the Fox sports feed -  not sure about Sony).

another most important thing regarding trying too much, i thought they did not try enough early on.  they saw grass and thought it will be a pitch like Capetown and they have to just put the ball and pitch will do the job which did not happen. 

 

Um, this is the story of Perth for the last several years. The pitch flatters to deceive for seam movement and isnt very fast or bouncy till the 2nd & 3rd days, when the sun bakes the pitch into a rock-hard substance. Then on 4th-5th days, as it starts to break up a bit, fast bowlers lose the bounce but its not broken enough to give big purchase to spinners. 
IIRC, Perth's trajectory for the last several matches has been 'mammoth first day scoring--> wickets fall like crazy on day 2 and 3, then mammoth 4th & 5th day scoring'.

Exactly but I believe rkt is talking about the runs scored which were mostly of half volleys and balls that were too full.

 

They were all over the place with length which we can give them the benefit of doubt for figuring out a new surface but their lines were too straight as well.

Yep, they just seemed to be bowling within themselves up front.  As ticsy pointed out, Ishant was tring to sort out his swing issues, and Umesh was just umesh.  For a change, it was Shami who looked threatening right from the get-go in the first innings.

When wicket is not helpful you have to at least ensure you don't leak runs. Pitch changed from second session

Not tailor made but yes would have done well though today is overcast hence the new ball swung early on.

This is not waca. This is only the second fc game at this stadium and there won't be any sun fir next 3-4 days so pitch won't break and grass won't get burned.

This is a different stadium ,not waca. Those traits were exhibited at waca

This is the first time they play a test here. This is not WACA. This is OPTUS. Moreover this is a drop-in pitch.

Maybe because of his back injuries issues but if you don't want to play him then why picked him for the tour. Sometimes, these things are absolutely unfathomable.

Actually Australia was the one who got carried away lol Bowling lovely half vollies and got smashed every single time  They got a lucky wicket. Two idiots got out to regular full ball something they should be able to play eyes closed.
