How do you remember this day?

 

I remember reading in newspapers that a local boy has got chance in international cricket. Till then I had heard his name in domestic matches and didn't know much about him. 

 

When he hit his first six in 3rd ODI, we had headlines in Ranchi newspaper - Dada ne chhakka maarne ka license dekar bheja tha.

I think there were talks of him being a big hitting WK batsman 2004 when DK played Lords ODI against England.You had Maninder Singh and Ashok Malhotra as experts on Sahar or Zee and Maninder used to mention a lot about MSD as a big hitter.

Him playing against Pakistan A was televised if I am not wrong where they were playing in Kenya.He made a century in that innings.

Obviously I take his side against evil sachin chamchas and phastttt jokers when he was blamed for wrong reasons. 

 

For example : Wasn't Dhoni blamed over years for Umesh being ****??? What's the story now ??? Isn't Virat giving him enough confidence ???? Always knew it was the player itself not the Captain. Maybe you should go check their posts in Umesh yadav thread. Currently most of those jokers are in hideout

Yup that was the first time I saw msd on screen (it was telecaster on ten sports I think ) and iirc we smashed Pakistan in that match .

That was some rubbish innings even though match was completely dead. Nothing really there to defend. People can cry all they want.. Once he is gone then you ll know the importance. We were spoiled by him and Yuvi all these years.
